Dog Chasing his Tail is a 2 part aluminum casting made at University of Central Florida. It was highly experimental in that I was developing a new technique by which I formed chicken wire armature and covered the armature with masking tape before casting the molten aluminum into the chicken wire that was buried in the ground using the ground around it as a mold. The base is cast separately from the dog but were joined in the second casting process.
